Hillsboro, Oregon – The Red Sneaker Chamber Players returns to the Walters Cultural Arts Center on Friday, November 20th for the next installment of the new Walters Chamber Music Series – American Composers. Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 day of show. Walters Chamber Series season tickets are also still available: any four of the remaining seven shows for $49.
America’s reputation as a melting pot of cultures is reflected in its search for a musical identity. Influenced by folk, jazz, blues, and pop styles, American classical music is a rich tapestry of sound. This is not an ordinary, sleep-inducing concert – it is a vibrant musical event, presented by outstanding musicians –in red sneakers!
Tylor Neist earned his Master’s in Violin Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with Midori and Mitchell Stern. Tylor is also a dedicated teacher and performs with the Portland and Eugene Symphonies. He currently lives in Hillsboro.
