EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings say they have a deal to bring Brett Favre back to the NFL.
The 39-year-old quarterback took a plane to Minnesota today, drove to Vikings training camp and was in a helmet and pads less than 90 minutes after arriving.
The deal is reportedly worth between $10 and $12 million.
Favre, a longtime star in Green Bay, came out of retirement last season to play for the Jets. He retired again, only to then entertain the idea of joining the Vikings.
