My opinion is that a "Drive Thru" is not a "Ride Thru"! Are we going to start riding thru bank drive thru's also? If a rider is approved to do this, maybe we should start allowing skateboarders too!!
As for your agrument of not driving cars because of the enviromental issues, Shouldn't bicyclists have the same tax that we charge our vechcles to be on the road? Ex: License plates, tags, insurance...
Because car drivers are already paying for bicycle lanes in the city of Portland, as well as all other lane changes and expenses bicycles cause; we do have a right as a driver to certain well paid for privelidges!!!!!
